George Bernard Shaw once said “the best place to seek God is in a garden,” and one can't help but think how true this is! So let's celebrate the soil, no matter how small the portion.
A self contained MiniGarden residing on a desktop, shelf or bedside table can be a wonderful reminder of the beauty and simple presence of nature in our lives. Summer months can minimize outdoor time and high rise living makes it hard to glimpse outdoor greenery. There is an easy solution though; the newest trend is to have a small indoor garden to gaze at and nothing beats our terrariums for simplicity; mini diamond shaped glass and brass houses with real soil, gravel and slow growing living plants that require hardly any water or care …
The Terrariums we sell in Dubai can come in different shapes and sizes but the most popular of these mini glass gardens are shaped like jewels. Our indoor gardens & terrariums are extremely popular among those living in Dubai city (unfortunately we don't offer free deliver in the other Emirates yet), where space is at a premium and outdoor gardens are a luxury only for Villa owners … but wherever you may live, adorning your interiors with small garden features can subliminally minimise stress from the daily pace of urban living. Focusing on one of these stunning Semi-desert Crassulaceae can be quite a meditative experience! Set inside a tiny glass house, in soil with earthy and colored gravels (as per choice), these intriguing, attractive, stemless rosettes are reminiscent of Claude Monet roses.
Our “green terrarium” has Echeverria Taurus with green leaves flushed and tipped with crimson and our “pink terrarium” contains the divine pink & purple hued Echeveria “Perl Von Nurnberg.” What a royal name too … with its stunning colors and elegant leaf shape, these two drought resistant juicy succulent plants that we chose to feature, are great for gifts, homes, offices, schools, cafes, restaurants and even better for events like large parties & weddings.
There are many reasons to give live plants over cut flower bouquets, but that is a personal choice. Plants are a connection to nature that can be beneficial for your overall well being. In these times where our ecosystem is at the forefront of the world news on a daily basis, sustainability is a topic of interest to all of us and conserving our resources in any way we can is for everyone to take into consideration.
The simple action of watering your small plants are a constant reminder of life, love and the eternal hope of future, growth and giving. With thought towards reducing wastage from packaging, our MiniGardens are delivered in sustainable reusable wooden crates and not plastic or cardboard boxes. Funnily enough, even though our crates are not for sale, a lot of our clients remark on how they would like to buy them just for their sustainability and rustic, earthy appeal. We are happy to share our love for the planet and to show each other that we care about our health because giving a live plant means so much more than just a gift; you can benefit from gardening on a small scale and this can be an enjoyable experience for all ages.
